The primary content of this blog is the result of personal interviews and conversations with artists and other personalities within the Toronto art community. Rather than providing the reader with an obsessive stream of recycled information and fleeting disposable perspectives of local happenings, the articles here seek not only to provide my own reviews of artists’ practices, but also to give them a rare chance to explain themselves so that they can be represented from a deeper personal understanding of their creative motivations.

I am an artist, freelance writer, educator and mother based in Toronto, Canada, who spends much of my free time perusing local galleries and art events in search of inspiring creations to fuel my passion of weaving visual forms into artistic prose.  Aside from this blog, you can read my works in various art publications such as Canadian Art Magazine, regular contributions to Magenta Magazine, and Square 2 Magazine.
